GAIN INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE FOR YOUR BOOK! Catch the attention of prospective editors and publishers!

The Readers’ Choice Awards has been initiated as the only major international awards competition where readers choose their favorite authors and books, igniting enthusiasm throughout the book and publishing industry, and supporting the rise in reading across America! Entries will include: Self-Submissions (authors), Celebrity Submissions (their favorite book), and RCA Committee Submissions. Nominees will encourage their readers to vote, allowing individual readers to honor and support their favorite authors and books. Thirty six categories will be included in this inaugural award year. The Readers’ Choice Awards will announce two grand prize winners in the winter 2011, one grand prize winner will reflect a published date prior to 2010, and the other grand prize winner will reflect a published date during 2010 (new releases). More than $20,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the winners. Plus, all category winners will receive book-jacket seals to promote their award-winning status of their book!

THE PRIZES:

ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER (Published prior to 2010) with the most votes will be awarded $5,000 in cash and prizes, recognition of winners through the media in the winter 2011, and on www.markvictorhansenfoundation.org.

ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER-NEW RELEASES (Published during 2010) with the most votes will be awarded $5,000 in cash and prizes, recognition of winners through the media in the summer 2010, and on www.markvictorhansenfoundation.org.

5 FIRST-PLACE WINNERS based on the number of votes received during the competition will each receive $2,500 in cash and prizes, recognition of winners through the media in the winter 2011, and on www.markvictorhansenfoundation.org.

Plus, all category winners will receive book-jacket seals to promote the award-winning status of their book, promotion on the Mark Victor Hansen Foundation website, and a selection of books authored by Mark Victor Hansen.

Additional entries: $50 each

No books are required, nor requested to be submitted during the application process of the Readers’ Choice Awards. Winners will be announced in the winter 2010/11—exact location and time to be determined.
